Mark your calendars! Hart Group International has set the date for next year’s conference which will be held February 26-28, 2009. This year we are headed to the Doral Resort and Spa, a Marriott Resort, in Miami, Florida.
Friday and Saturday mornings will feature guest speakers, topical discussion panels, and work sessions on a variety of topics, giving attendees the opportunity to stay current and connected. A slate of speakers and selection of relevant topics is being developed. A complete agenda will be provided when finalized.
On Friday afternoon the 5th annual B. Kenin Hart Golf Tournament will be held on the Doral’s famous Blue Monster Course. The Blue Monster, which has hosted PGA tour events for the past 45 years, features long fairways, undulating green, a deep Bermuda rough and a unique assortment of water hazards. The famous 18th hole, with its signature fountain, was ranked by GOLF Magazine as one of the Top 100 Holes in the World. On Saturday afternoon, golfers will have the opportunity to play on the Doral’s Gold Course, which incorporates gently contoured greens, strategic bunkering and water surrounding 16 holes. The course features narrow, tree-lined fairways and finishes with a dramatic par-4 island green on the 18th hole.
The Doral Resort features a variety of activities for guests to enjoy such as multiple pools, the Blue Lagoon Water park which includes a 125 foot water slide, a fitness center and weight room, a tennis center, sauna and Jacuzzis, a fitness/jogging trail, bicycle rentals, and camp Doral for children ages 5-12. The European inspired Spa at Doral combines traditionally elegant ambiance with a modern selection of over 100 spa treatments, nail and hair care, a state-of the-art fitness center, and a registered dietician/nutritionist.
For those looking to explore Miami, the Doral Resort is located just a short distance from several area attractions. The Mediterranean-themed city of Coral Gables, Downtown Miami, South Beach Coconut Grove, and Key Biscayne are all within a half-hour drive.
